I was listening to an interview with Kenneth Goldsmith, founder of UbuWeb. He spoke about how there was a single horizon for much of art history- a path artists took. However, that path shattered and spread over the horizon. Today that horizon is so wide, all-encompassing, actually, that it has become an infinite horizon.
Maybe I misunderstood it all - but it inspired me nonetheless.
